NEW in AUDIO,, iTunes

6 hrs.

It's no surprise that Candace is dreading returning to her 'real' life. When her days for the past month have been filled with the sun's caress and the smell of plumeria, it is impossible to imagine she'll be leaving that kind of magic behind. Especially when the life waiting for her holds nothing nearly as exciting as Adrian, the bartender who serves her drinks at Tiwaka's Tiki Bar and Grill. But it's not just the promise of romance that is making the thought of leaving painful. There is something peculiar and wonderful about the island. Candace feels it all around her and especially when she meets Bucky, an older man on the verge of homelessness who seems to recognize her, and a woman crying on the beach to whom she's oddly drawn. With Adrian and Bucky's help, Candace discovers the truth of why she feels so at home on that island, but, most importantly, she learns that love has no boundaries - not even those of time.

This is such a wonderful story. The title grabbed me right away but the story itself kept me reading. Such a beautiful use of language. In the midst of a northwest Pennsylvania winter, I took this wonderful armchair vacation to Maui and I didn't want it to end. I recommend this book to everyone.

A new cover graces the TRILOGY de TIKI ~ "The Life and Times of a Hawaiian Tiki Bar".

If anyone has had more fun than me with this series of stories, I'll buy them a Coco Loco Moco!

Writing is often hard work:  stirring plot around pace and mixing in danger and success for the characters.  Those who have read this series understand I spend less time doing that than most.  However, the value rests, if I may suggest  in the texture of the story - the ambiance.

These books aim to take you to a place you have not been - in a long while or perhaps even ever. Comfortable, safe and exotic.  Just make sure that before you start reading, you've freed your toes from your shoes, relaxed your back in a hammock and covered your eyes with a shady hat.  A cool refreshing drink wouldn't hurt either.

Tiwaka, and the crew from Tiwaka's Tiki Bar & Grill would love to sing to you as you read as well!  Check out "Radio Tiwaka" online at
